My Heart Trusted in Him and I Am Helped
Psalm 28:6-7
“Blessed be the LORD, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.”

Have you ever pondered what it really means to trust in the LORD?

If we look at the word trust in this text, from the original language, it means:
—to hide for refuge (or safety)
–to be confident
We all need a genuinely safe place! A hiding place!

Are we really trusting………no matter what?
Our hearts can safely trust, hide for refuge, or be confident in—-the LORD!!
HE alone is the real strength and shield–at the very times when we’re in need–He’s the One Who is worthy of trusting!! HE can keep us safe!!
That’s precisely why our hearts can greatly rejoice….with our songs we can praise Him….and HE is so worthy!!!
